I watched this small plane take off.

The next few photos show the bike secured to the floor with heavy duty
twine. The bike is sitting on its centerstand and the twine is tied to its case
guards. The twine was furnished by the ferry, but it was my responsibility to
secure the bike. I always knew there would come a time when those knots I
learned in Boy Scouts would come in handy. I now carry regular ratcheting tie
down straps.

Two helmets were carried on this trip. The black open face helmet was worn
during fair weather, and the silver full face helmet was worn during inclement
weather. Whichever helmet was not being worn was kept in the tankbag while
riding. The silver helmet was attached to the holder behind the right saddlebag
for the duration of the ferry ride.

The bike is barely visible in this photo.

Several vehicles departed at this stop.

The ferry held many vehicles.
