The accelerator linkage rod hole was patched because it is no longer used. A 1993 Mustang cable-driven accelerator pedal assembly will be used in place of the old rod-style accelerator linkage assembly.
The rectangular firewall electrical connector holes were patched and a circular hole was drilled in their place for the wires to be routed through. A large rubber grommet will be installed to prevent chafing of the wires.
