An engine wiring harness and associated EEC-IV computer from a 1993 Mustang will be adapted for use in the Falcon:
The computer will be installed inside the dash above the heater.
Several aftermarket fuse panel and wiring kits are available to simplify things, such as offered by American Autowire, Centech, Haywire, Painless Performance, Ron Francis' Wire Works and others. I selected the Haywire 14 fuse panel and wiring harness kit for this project.
The 75 Amp alternator that came with the 1993 Mustang engine will be upgraded to a 130 Amp unit as I plan to use an electric radiator fan and want some excess capacity. This conversion is fairly popular among Mustang enthusiasts. It is detailed in several places on the Internet including a very good writeup at http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/alternator.html.
