The crossmember was tack welded into place. It will be permanently welded after everything is fitted and thoroughly checked. Some additional trimming also remains to be done.
A Windsor-Fox AOD transmission crossmember for Falcons was installed to support the rear of the transmission. Some cutting of the transmission tunnel support was necessary to provide clearance for the speedometer cable to plug into the transmission tail housing.
