After the pull, the frame rail kink and inner wheelhouse wrinkle were gone.
The quarter panel was mounted with clamps and removed several times as it was trimmed to fit.

Next the quarter panel was taken to Unpaint Corporation for chemical paint stripping and treatment. Here it is in the back of my truck after they finished with it.
Incredible. All traces of surface rust, old paint, undercoating, etc. have been removed - the metal is like new again. After being stripped in an alkaline bath the metal was etched to make it ready for painting. Finally a water-soluble rust inhibitor was applied - it accounts for the slight discoloration. A little soap and water will remove the rust inhibitor when it is time for painting but in the meantime it prevents surface rust from forming.
