Alaska Highway N to Toad River, BC [2] (Mile 422).
Weather: Heavy rain all day. Temperature was in the 50's.
After breaking camp I rode for about an hour in heavy rain. I stopped at the Toad River Lodge to get a cup of hot coffee, relax, and warm up before continuing.
Given that I was about a day ahead of my originally planned schedule and the local scenery was exceptionally beautiful, I decided to get a room and relax for a day in hopes that the storm front would pass through. This turned out to be a wise decision.
