Weather: Cold and drizzling rain in the morning. Partly cloudy and warmer in the afternoon.
After pitching camp at North Pole, I rode into Fairbanks and purchased oil and filter for an oil change. Fairbanks was the first city of any significant size I had seen in many miles.
