Some of the photos I took on the Durango Silverton Railroad day excursion are shown on this page. The trip was three and a half hours each way plus a two hour stop in Silverton so it lasted an entire day.
I chose to ride in one of the open air gondola cars.
Two stops were made each way between Durango and Silverton to take on water
for the steam engine.
